After installing B2B Handsfree on your store, you'll be automatically sent to the app's Settings page. If not, or if you want to change your configuration settings later on, click the Settings button on the dashboard page.
The Settings page lets you configure B2B Handsfree to fit your needs. Lets go through the settings one by one.
Send me a notification when a new customer registers
This option should be pretty self-explanatory. If enabled, you'll get an email every time a customer registers an account through B2B Handsfree's registration form. This is useful if you've disabled automatic account invites because you want to send out the invites manually.
Set new B2B customer as tax exempt if VAT ID is valid
When a B2B customer enters their VAT ID on B2B Handsfree's registration form and the VAT ID is validated successfully, enabling this automatically sets these customers to tax exempt in Shopify. That way EU B2B customers with a valid VAT ID can buy from your store without being charged VAT, provided that you're using ex-VAT prices on your store.

Note that this only applies to customers who register their account through B2B Handsfree's registration form. Customers who register an account using the default registration form have to be set to tax exempt manually, if required.
Send automatic account invite
When a B2B customer successfully registers an account through B2B Handsfree's registration form, enabling this setting means Shopify will send out an account invite email to the customer. The customer can then click a link in this email to go to a page where they can set a password for the account, which in effect confirms and enables the account.
If you leave this setting disabled you can send out these account invite emails manually through the Shopify by going to the customer's page in the admin and clicking Send account invite.
Set custom tags for every new business customer
This setting lets you assign tags to customers who successfully register an account through B2B Handsfree's registration form. This is useful if you want to give B2B customers special prices or if you want certain products or product categories to only be available to B2B customers.
B2B Handsfree doesn't provide these features itself, but wholesale pricing and restricting products to certain customers is typically achieved by using tags. So you can combine the automatic tagging feature of B2B Handsfree with apps like Wholesale Club or Locksmith to achieve this kind of functionality.

Rewrite Registration Page Template
This feature allows you to recreate the registration page template if for some reason it stops working as desired (e. g. due to customizations, accidental changes, etc.). This feature should typically only be used if so instructed by our support team or if you really know what you're doing.
